Etching Art

Gigi uses this technique known as drypoint for all etched pieces. Drypoint is an engraving method (a printmaking technique) in which the illustration is etched with a steel needle stylus & carving tools directly onto plexiglass. More intricate, softer and expressive strokes are sketched to allow for more minute details in the artpiece to be seen and appreciated upon.
